Paul was appointed as General Secretary of the Association in January 2012. He was born and raised in Bristol so you will spot the accent if you speak to him. He became a Christian while studying at Warwick University and went on to teach at an inner London secondary school. His first introduction to full time ministry was working with LCM as a voluntary evangelist. It was here that he met his wife, Fiona. They then went on to study at ETCW (now WEST). He served at a church in London for two years and was then called in 1996 to be pastor of Gadebridge Baptist Church in Hemel Hempstead. He and Fiona have three nearly grown up children.
Alongside all the dull but necessary admin, Paul’s main role is to offer pastoral advice to ministers, churches and individuals. He certainly will not have all the answers but might know someone who does. He is very happy to come and speak in your church or to meet with pastors and church officers.
